E-groups

The PUR has many e-groups, also called discussion lists, where some activities are promoted:

At last, information that is related to the Renewed Universities Project can be debated here, aiming the spread of information  between the UPGs.

The great advantage of an e-group is to allow the sending an email to hundreds of people at the same time, without having to write all the names and emails. You write only one email and it is distributed to the staff who is enrolled in the list. Practical, isn't it?

For this reason we ask for your attention when writing the messages for the list. The RULES for the use of our list are:

1. Do not send long texts.
Long texts are inconvenient, because a great part of the readers will erase them before reading half of it.
2. Write your message and the subject clearly.

3. Prevent using accents. Nor all point of the route of its email until all the colleagues of the list understand the accented characters. Some change accents for strange characters.
4. You do not abuse in your "REPLY".
When redispatching a message for the list, try to copy only a part of the previous email as reference.
5. Do not offend your colleagues of list. This is alone one of the commandments, applied... (love to the next one, remembers)
6. Do not change the subject of the list. The list is for the use of participants of the RUP and on subjects related directly to the it. Debates on the catholic faith doctrine or between religions must be carried through in proper lists!
7. Do not order binary archives attached in your messages. Send them for the people who asked for it, prevent sending it for the list directly.
8. Sign your messages. Create a signature, so that your e-mails be identified, otherwise it will be difficult to know that it is you!
9. Prevent writing the TEXT ALL All-caps. It is the method used to characterize an shout. If you send an email in capital all, the majority of the list will find that you are crying out. YOU HEARD? :-)
10. You use Emotion icons adequately. They are the symbols
  :-) Glad
 8-( Sad with eyeglasses
 ;-) Smart boy
11. Do not send chains for the list. Messages of the type "earn money" or "be carefull with virus" do not have to be sent for the list, therefore they will be perpetuating the chain, that nothing more is than a virtual garbage, a social virus.
12. Look foward to optimizing your messages. To optimize the reading of the messages, when ordering an email for the list, places some answers in the same message, and it only citates nome(s) of whom it is destinated!
